Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a beekeeper? This introductory program offers a behind-the-scenes look at honeybees and beekeeping, from life inside the colony to the tools and equipment beekeepers use. Participants will learn what beekeepers look for when they open a hive, some of the rewards and challenges of keeping bees, and ways everyone can support honeybees and other pollinators—even without becoming a beekeeper.
