CUP CHATS: Conversation, Connection & CommunityOur informal, in-person gatherings are a great way to connect with other parents and caregivers of kids with IEPs, 504s, and Special Education-related needs in our district.
👉 This month, the four candidates running for the SOMSD Board of Education have been invited to join us to hear your experiences with Special Education in our school district.
Sunday, October 18 @ 4:00
◉ Community Center @ DeHart Park, 120 Burnet Ave, Maplewood
We know Special Education is something people often learn about on a need-to-know basis. However, we believe holding a seat on the BOE means one is serving every student, including those with disabilities.
Stay tuned for more about the candidates’ perspectives on Special Education with our 2026 BOE Candidate Questionnaire, coming next week. PLEASE NOTE: SEPAC does not endorse any candidates.
Can’t make this one? No worries! We meet once a month or so, at a variety of times and days. Keep an eye on your inbox for future dates.
