I am trying to organise a monthly meet of classic cars, and other interesting cars, for local owners in the Cumbria area, to bring their pride and joy to Dobbies Garden Centre at Orton Grange, Carlisle, Cumbria CA5 6LB, mainly on a weekend and on a Sunday, for a couple of hours from 10.00am to 12.00 noon. If there is enough interest of people wanting to do this it would enable us as a community to get to know each other, share knowledge and show the Dobbies Garden Centre customers our cherished cars and also make use of their fabulouse restaurant while we are there. I realise that this is very near to the time of year we will be "mothballing" our cars for the winter, but I thought we could get one meeting in to see how successful it is, weather permitting of course, as I have provisionally scheduled a calander for meets in 2027 that avoid all the Classic Car Shows. Please send me a message on Messenger of you are interested or would like any further information, Jim.
