Cumberland Honey and Peter Stone play Dec 11 at 717 Arts!Catch these Central PA artists as they share their unique blends of folk / alt / bluegrass / indie music. Celebrate the release of Peter's 2nd full length album Hearth.
Cumberland Honey:
Hailing from the heart of Cumberland County, PA, Cumberland Honey brings sweet harmonies with folk and soul influences and a taste of bluegrass. Their original songs weave stories of life and love with heartfelt harmonies that feel like home.
Peter Stone:
Peter Stone makes quietly ferocious alt folk music to fill the cavernous spaces within a romantic wanderer's soul. Peter co-founded The Rare Occasions, through which their playing and writing have been streamed over 1 billion times. On the heels of a series of EPs and an LP, they're now sharing songs from their second full-length record Hearth, which keeps their alt-folk roots while reaching into psychedelia, bedroom pop, and rock. The songs move through existentialism, romance, and alienation, braiding big-picture commentary with deeply personal transmissions. Music for late-night kitchens and quiet walks home.
