A Reading meet-up for local arts organisations to share our priorities for the future. Hosted by Readipop.
About this Event

Cultural Life 2026 - Autumn Edition is a ’talkshop/networking’ event for local organisations to meet and share our work and plans.

We would like to invite Reading Arts & Culture organisations to join an informal gathering at Readipop Studios to discuss and celebrate the richness and diversity of Reading's cultural life. There will be drinks available, time to chat and a chance to see the newly opened studios.

With a new Arts Council NPO application window opening soon, we invite those wishing to contribute, to share plans for the future. To keep the proceedings to time there will be a limited number of three minute time slots to be allocated on a first come, first served basis, with the order of speakers chosen at random on the day. We are being joined by a representative from Arts Council England.

Cultural Life is a biannual informal gathering of Reading's cultural sector to meet-up, share ideas and cooperate organised by Reading's ACE National Portfolio Organisations. These organisations will share their 3-minute presentations alongside others.

Please keep in mind parking by Readipop is extremely limited and we cannot guarantee that you will be able to park by our premises. We would suggest parking at Rivermead Leisure Centre, however we cannot reimburse participants if a parking cost is incurred.
