Cultivate Workshop Series
In celebration of this landmark year, New Earth Theatre is offering the Cultivate Workshop Series as a fundraiser for our 30th Anniversary campaign. Taking place from August to December, there will be new workshops on offer every month. For December, we are offering:
Intro to Meisner Technique
Developed by Stanford Meisner, the Meisner Technique focuses on truthful behaviour under imaginary circumstances. During an intensive five hour session, Tuyen will cover the leading principles and exercises of the Meisner Technique including repetition and active listening. All levels welcome.
Intro to Meisner Technique is the December offering for the Cultivate Workshop Series, brought to you by New Earth Theatre as a fundraiser for its 30th Anniversary Campaign. All workshops are £15, plus the Eventbrite service charge of £1.63.
As this is a fundraiser, if you are able to, we ask that you consider donating on top of the £16.63 class fee and service charge.
MEET THE TUTOR
TUYEN DO
Tuyen is an actor, playwright and novelist. She is also the visiting Meisner practitioner at Drama Studio London on their MFA and BA course, and personal coach to seasoned professionals. She helps actors bridge the gap between themselves and the role with emotional authenticity, specificity and fun. She believes the craft of acting can also springboard you into other forms of storytelling, helping you steer your own creative path.
