Experience Qigong as body practice combining movement, breathing, relaxation and focused attention. Its practice may support balance, mobility, sleep, stress regulation, emotional well-being, fatigue management and overall quality of life. Four Seasons Qigong applies these general practices within the seasonal framework of Chinese medicine, emphasizing different movements, breathing methods, and healing sounds that are tailored to spring, summer, autumn and winter. Its seasonal organization offers a meaningful and adaptable self-care structure even in our tropical climate.
Qigong unblocks and cultivates the Jing, Qi, & Shen in the meridians (jingluo) & organs (zangfu) for physical, emotional, and spiritual balancing. For 24-plus years, as a (FL-licensed) Acupuncture Physician, Greg has shown his patients Qigong movements as a take-home adjunct to acupuncture sessions for lasting, balanced results. Attendees will learn about the Five-Element system of Chinese Medicine and how it applies to Four Seasons Qigong.
The Three Treasures:
Jing (essence): Your body’s foundational reserves—physical vitality, constitution, and reproductive energy. Think of it as your stored resources.
Qi (vital energy): The active energy and functional activity that keep the body moving, warming, breathing, digesting, and adapting. Think of it as your usable daily energy.
Shen (spirit/mind): Your awareness, emotional presence, mental clarity, and inner vitality—the quality that seems to “shine through” a person. Think of it as your consciousness and presence.
