About this Event
The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester continues its programme to promote children’s reading.
In this session, our storytelling will be dedicated to Salvador Dalí, one of the most internationally renowned Catalan painters.
Through this activity, we will introduce children to Dalí’s life and work and his creative universe, full of strange and unique fantasy.
El pequeño Dalí tells the tale of little Salvi, a boy from Figueres who, while playing on the beach, finds a small, shiny key. In search of what the key might open, Salvi embarks on a journey full of adventures and fantastic characters born from the painter’s creative imagination.
In collaboration with Manchester City of Literature and Read Manchester – National Literacy Trust.
Recommended age: from 5 years old.

El Instituto Cervantes de Manchester continúa su programa de promoción de la lectura infantil. En esta sesión dedicaremos nuestro cuentacuentos a Salvador Dalí, uno de los pintores catalanes más reconocidos internacionalmente.
Con esta actividad acercaremos a los niños la figura y obra de Dalí y su universo creador lleno de una fantasía extraña e inconfundible.
El pequeño Dalí narra la historia del pequeño Salvi, un niño de Figueres que jugando en la playa encuentra una llave pequeña y brillante. En busca de lo que puede abrirse con esa llave, Salvi inicia un viaje lleno de aventuras y personajes fantásticos nacidos de la imaginación creadora del pintor.
