About this Event
Step into a wonderfully whimsical world where cuddly meets curious! In this playful workshop, you’ll create your very own piece of Plushy Taxidermy by transforming an adorable stuffed animal into a one-of-a-kind faux mounted creature.
You’ll start by choosing from the stuffed animals we have on hand, or you’re welcome to bring a favorite plushy of your own. Our animals are approximately 6 inches, so if you bring your own, please keep it in that general size range so it works well with the mounts provided.
Then comes the really fun part! You’ll use a variety of trimmings, notions, ribbons, bows, trims, embellishments, and other decorative goodies to give your creature its own personality. Make it sweet, fancy, quirky, spooky, delightfully over-the-top—or a magical combination of them all.
Everything you need is included, so all you have to bring is your creativity and a love for the wonderfully weird. You’ll leave with a completely unique piece of wall art that feels like it came straight from a charming little curiosity cabinet.
