Special Event: Orange Trail End to End Challenge: In 2026, we will be hiking the entire Orange Trail, from Bushnell’s Basin to Hamilton Rd, in 3 monthly hikes (April, July and October). Each hike is about 6 miles with some difficult sections. Hikers who complete all 3 hikes will be eligible for the Crescent Trail Finisher Patch. You can also earn the Finisher Patch by hiking the entire Orange trail on your own, either all at once or in sections as you see fit. For our October hike (Last of 3), we will meet at the Northside School Parking lot at 150 Hamilton Rd., Type “Crescent Trail Hamilton Rd. Trailhead” in your GPS. A town bus will transport hikers from the meeting location to the start of the hike at White Brook Nature Area. We will then hike back to the north end of the Orange Trail at Northside School. We hope you can join us for this challenge!
