As part of Central Texas College's Salute to Veterans Week, we invite the community to join us for a special screening of Apache Blues: Welcome Home on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 1-4 p.m. at the Mayborn Science Theater on the CTC campus. This powerful documentary shares firsthand accounts from Vietnam veterans who served with Apache Troop, 1-9 Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, honoring their courage, sacrifice, brotherhood and the lasting impact of war. Following the screenings, attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from the filmmakers during a special panel discussion.
As we prepare to observe Veterans Day, let us come together to honor those who served, listen to their stories, and express our heartfelt gratitude for the freedoms their sacrifices helped preserve.
