On Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 3 to 4 PM, Salinair Salt Room Spa is hosting Crystal Sound Bath: December Reset, a one-hour crystal sound bowl session inside our Large Salt Cave, led by Anna Gutierrez.
This hour is for anyone who wants time to themselves, whether you have been to a sound bath before or this is your first.
How the session works
- You settle into a recliner in our Large Salt Cave.
- For the first 45 minutes, a commercial halogenerator releases pharmaceutical-grade salt into the air while you breathe normally.
- Anna guides you through a Crystal Sound Bowl meditation focused on your breath, your chakras, and the present moment.
- Wear comfortable clothing. There is nothing to prepare.
New to halotherapy?
Halotherapy means breathing in salt. A commercial halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into particles fine enough to breathe, a practice that began in the salt mines of Eastern Europe. Salinair Salt Room Spa has offered it in Rochester Hills for 12+ years. You get 45 minutes of active halotherapy, a $50 value on its own, included in your ticket. A session delivers no more than 45 mg of salt. Halotherapy is a complementary wellness practice and does not replace medical care.
About Anna Gutierrez
Anna Gutierrez, also known as Ariche Xiomara, is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) coach and Yoga Coordinator at Mental Balance and Wellness Practice. Her work weaves sound, breathwork, and movement into experiences rooted in community and presence.
This event is hosted in partnership with Carmelita Samuel, LMSW, of Mental Balance and Wellness Practice.
