IMPORTANT NOTICE
As you can probably imagine, Crystal Blues is a game of many moving parts, and putting it together can be quite a challenge.
Unfortunately, this year we are struggling to get those moving parts to align and have found ourselves in a tricky situation.
We desperately don’t want to have to cancel what is, for us, the highlight of the year – so we are faced with making the very difficult decision to change the date.
In an attempt to try and ensure that Crystal Blues 2026 will be the best it can be, it will now be held on the weekend of 13th/14th/15th November.
I understand that this can make things difficult for people who have already planned ahead, so for that, I apologise.
It is not a decision we have taken lightly and we hope that you can still join us...

Crystal Blues Challenge is the highlight of the Modern Blues dancing calendar – and this will be our 16th CBC event!
This whole weekend event is always extra special…
A dance weekend that has added competition, and one that is welcoming, inclusive and way more than just a competition…
A weekend event that has oodles and oodles of day time and evening freestyle time…
Where winning is great, but being part of an event that values and appreciates the joy of participation is so much more…
Where even as a non-competitor, you are able to influence the outcome AND have hours and hours of wonderful dance time..
This is an event run BY Blues dancers – FOR Blues dancers.
For us to make new, meet up with old, and dance with friends,…
For people to delight in the joy of enjoying our dance peers shine on the dance floor..
For us to push ourselves just a tiny bit outside of our comfort zones…
And for us all to appreciate and celebrate all that is Modern Blues dancing.
