Cruz Contreras has spent nearly three decades quietly building an extraordinary career in Americana music. With East Tennessee roots, he first made his mark with Robinella and the CCstringband before founding and fronting The Black Lillies, touring extensively and making more than 40 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. A gifted songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Cruz is equally at home on guitar, keyboards and harmonica—but what makes him special is the genuine connection he creates with an audience. He’s accomplished but unassuming, deeply talented yet completely approachable - the kind of artist you simply want to sit close, engage and listen.
His solo album Cosmico opened another chapter in an already remarkable musical journey, and that journey continues with his newest single, “Feels Like Home,” released in July 2026. It’s a fitting title for an artist whose music has a way of making a room full of people feel comfortable, connected and very much at home.

PRE-SHOW COOKOUTS AT THE STATION
When weather and staffing allow, we’ll offer a pre-show cookout on The Station deck before select shows.
Our cook will be grilling burgers and hot dogs, served with all the fixings, potato salad, coleslaw, and dessert. A $20 donation per plate is suggested to help cover costs and keep the cookouts going.
Two days before each show, ticket holders will receive an email confirming whether the cookout is on, along with a weather update and show reminder.
If you plan to join us, please let us know in advance so we can purchase the right amount of fresh food and have plenty for everyone.

- Is it ok to BYOB or bring in small cooler? Yes if you're over 21 yrs old feel free to BYOB or drink of choice, and bringing in a small cooler that fits under your seat is fine. Just please drink responsibly and/or have a designated driver.
- Should we bring our own chairs? No, we have plenty of seating.

- Do you have a restroom? Yes
- Is The Station a smoke free venue? Yes, smoking is only allowed outside, and far enough away to not bother guests.
- Can we bring the kids? Keep in mind some folks bring adult beverages, but The Station's certainly not a bar environment. but rather a listening room. We must respect folks paying to listen to the music, so we prefer kids be 12 yrs or older to attend our shows. That said we're reasonable folks so contact us if you need to request an under 12 exception.
- Are advance ticketed shows refundable? Yes, if given 7 day advance notice.
- Is The Station available to rent for private events? Yes! The Station is available to rent year round for weddings, birthday parties, and private events!
