Calling all crows! Dress in black, gather your shiniest little treasures, and join the murder...Do you like shiny things? Remember the faces of those who have wronged you? Have an appreciation for tiny treasures, curious objects, and all things a little strange? You might just be a crow.
Join us for a strange and shiny celebration of these clever, fascinating birds! We’ll learn a little about the secret lives of crows and other corvids (including how you might befriend the crows in your own neighborhood) then mingle with your fellow crows for a trinket exchange, simple crafts, music, and more.
Bring a few small treasures to trade: buttons, charms, beads, crystals, rocks, keys, tiny toys, vintage jewelry, handmade baubles, or other inexpensive and curiously delightful objects. Please leave actual trash and discarded materials at home; our crows have refined tastes.
And naturally, black is the dress code! Keep it simple, get spooky, or go full-on feathered. Dressing up is highly encouraged but not required. All are welcome. Crow-worthy snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Come prepared to learn, trade, and embrace your inner crow!
