About the show
Cris Jacobs has earned his place as one of the most compelling voices in American roots music. A masterful guitarist with a soulful, elastic voice, he blends rock, soul, Americana, and funk with fire and finesse. His energetic, spontaneous performances range from searing guitar work to deep grooves with his band.
With a rich catalog of acclaimed solo albums and collaborations with artists ranging from Steven Winwood to Sturgill Simpson, Jacobs brings authenticity, grit, and musicality to songs about perseverance, joy, and the complexities of the human experience. His artistry fully comes to life onstage, where his songs are best heard.
