Join Michelle at Weekend Craft Cafe for four fun, beginner-friendly classes designed to help you feel confident using your Cricut and Cricut Design Space.
We'll start with the basics and build your skills each week, learning how to design, cut, and create a variety of projects along the way.
✂️ Week 1: Meet Your Cricut
Tuesday, October 13 at 6:30 PM
We'll get familiar with your machine, Cricut Design Space, materials, mats, blades, fonts, images, and the basics of creating and cutting your own designs.
We'll make our first beginner-friendly Cricut project together!
✂️ Week 2: Vinyl + Iron-On
Learn the ins and outs of adhesive vinyl and iron-on materials, including cutting, weeding, transferring, layering, and applying your designs.
You'll create a personalized project to take home.
✂️ Week 3: Beyond the Basics
We'll explore some of the features that make Cricut so much more versatile, including cardstock, Cricut pens, Print Then Cut, stickers, scoring, and working with layered designs.
You'll make another fun hands-on project while learning new techniques.
✂️ Week 4: Make Your Own Project
You've learned the basics, now it's time to put them to work!
Choose from a selection of projects and create something of your own design. Michelle will be there to help troubleshoot, answer questions, and help you bring your idea to life.
What to Bring
🖥️ Your laptop with Cricut Design Space installed
✂️ Your own Cricut machine
💻 Your Cricut's power cord and any necessary accessories
Need to borrow a Cricut? No problem! Reach out to Michelle before the class and we'll see if we can get you set up with a machine to use during the series.
No previous Cricut experience is required. Just bring your machine, your laptop, and a willingness to learn and make something fun!
