Our six part Crescendo program kicks off Tuesday October 13 as musician and entrepreneur Lou Hill and attorney Bri Whetstone take artists through the different aspects of intellectual property and how to protect your work. Specific topics include:
· Copyright, Trademark and Patent, and their differences
· Enforcing your Intellectual Property
· The Registration Process and Recent Developments from the Copyright Office
· The Difference between Publishing and Masters.
Crescendo is a free wheeling discussion for musicians of all levels looking to learn what's new in intellectual property, or for artists starting at the beginning, and is part of The Ella Project's six part music business intensive running Tuesday's from 5:30 to 7:30 from October 13 to November 17.
