Join us for a powerful cultural experience as Developing Kids Into Innovators presents a historic Jounen Kwéyòl Celebration as part of CreoleFest 2026.
This event brings together the richness of Saint Lucian and Creole culture through music, dance, language, fashion, and food. It is designed to educate, celebrate, and elevate the presence of Kwéyòl heritage in Alberta and across Canada.
This is more than a festival.This is a cultural platform rooted in identity, expression, and community.

• Live performances from St. Lucian and Caribbean artists• Traditional and contemporary dance including Bèlè and Quadrille• A vibrant Creole culinary experience• Cultural fashion and madras fabric showcases• Youth engagement through Street Literacy and cultural storytelling• Community connection, education, and celebration

Present authentic and innovative Creole and Caribbean cuisine.We are seeking chefs who can represent the flavors of Saint Lucia and the wider diaspora.
VENDORS & CREATIVES
Display and sell products that reflect culture, heritage, art, fashion, and community innovation.This includes artisans, designers, cultural brands, and small businesses.
