Creepy Crawlers & Drippin' in the Dark brings two free community events together for one night at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Come for one or stay for both!
Creepy Crawlers | 6:30–8:00 PM
Get an up-close look at the wild side of Central Texas! Families can explore insects, spiders, reptiles, and other fascinating wildlife through hands-on activities, educational exhibits, and interactive demonstrations.
Meet live snakes and other reptiles with Austin Reptile Shows, connect with local naturalists, and discover some of the incredible creatures that call Central Texas home.
Drippin' in the Dark Community Star Party | 8:00–9:30 PM
As the sun goes down, turn your eyes to the sky! Telescopes will be set up on the Lower Field for an evening of stargazing with local astronomy organizations. Explore the Moon, planets, star clusters, and other celestial objects while learning more about the night sky.

Creepy Crawlers will take place at the Ranch House, followed by the Drippin' in the Dark Community Star Party on the Lower Field.
Please note: This is an outdoor, weather-dependent event. If weather requires a cancellation, the event will be held on Friday, November 20. Updates will be shared through Dripping Springs Ranch Park's website and social media.
