Creepshow (1982) is a fun, gory, and stylish horror-comedy anthology made by two legends of the genre. George A. Romero and Stephen King bring 1950s horror comics like Tales from the Crypt to life with bright neon lighting, comic book panels, and animated transitions in a movie featuring star-studded performances from Leslie Nielsen, Ted Danson, Hal Holbrook, Ed Harris, and even Stephen King, himself, in a memorable segment. Top all that off with special effects expert Tom Savini crafting creepy monsters, zombies, and practical gore that holds up brilliantly, more than 40 years later.
