Join us for an evening of wonder with José García-Moreno, professor of animation at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles and Director of the LMU Academy of Catholic Thought and Imagination.Interviewing him is Clara Ramirez, Sr. Digital Producer at NBCUniversal.
A Fulbright Scholar who trained at UCLA’s Animation Workshop in the School of Film and TV, where he earned his MFA, José brings together artistic mastery, generous teaching, and a deep sense of the sacred.
He has curated a new book, 'Creativity, Spirituality, and Artificial Intelligence,' arriving October 15, 2026, from Focolare Media. That night he will invite us into a living conversation: how the human spirit, with its capacity for beauty, meaning, and love, meets the unfolding world of artificial intelligence.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. We’ll begin with a quiet opportunity for prayer, then share a catered pasta dinner before the program begins at 8 p.m.
