About the speakerWil Palmieri is an educator, climber, and entrepreneur.
Before opening CoMo Rocks Climbing Gym in Columbia, Wil spent more than a decade at the University of Missouri working in international education, developing programs, teaching, and traveling with students around the world. His own journey has taken him through communities across Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America and the United States, and whenever possible into the mountains.
Wil has worked in the climbing industry in one way or another for more than 25 years. In 2021, he opened CoMo Rocks, a place that brought together many of the things he enjoys most. Climbing, teaching, learning, and building community.
He still loves getting outside to climb, teaching someone something new, and spending time with good people. He lives in Columbia with his wife Elizabeth and their two daughters.
