About this Event
A full day of creative workshop for young people, Creative Youth Festival is co-designed by Wysing’s Creative Youth Council, who meet at Wysing monthly to work directly with artists. The festival is an opportunity to be creative in a welcoming and inclusive space, make connections and enjoy time outdoors at Wysing.
This year will feature workshops from Louise Ashcroft, Davinia Clarke, DJ Boss Lady, Roo Dhissou and Jack Oliver. Join us for DJ sessions, ceramics, make-up, printmaking and more.
Previously, Creative Youth Festival has seen workshops led by Uma Breakdown, Taraneh Dana, Sophie Hill, Alexi Marshall, CJ Mahoney, Alexis Parinas, Sean Roy Parker, Samsam Petherbridge, Lottie Poulet, and Shamica Ruddock.
The full schedule and workshop booking link will go live on 14 September 2026, with a number of spaces held for those who wish to join on the day. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment as spaces will be limited.
Booking Process - important, please read
Step 1: Select your ticket option from our sliding scale
Tickets are available on a sliding scale, including a free option if you need it. If you can afford to pay for a ticket, please do this helps keep our annual festival free for people who really need it. Early bird bookings and free tickets are available for local community youth groups.
Step 2: Select your workshop pre-booking options
50% of spaces for bookable workshops are available in advance. Don’t worry if a slot is sold out: some tickets for every session will be available on the day on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to book the drop-in sessions in advance (Printmaking and Mascot Making). Please be mindful of others when booking your workshops, and only attend each session once during your visit.
Step 3: Select your taxi option (if needed)
If you are booking a taxi, please let us know which pick-up point you require in the check-out form. If you are an adult, guardian or youth worker planning to travel with the young person, please also let us know in the check-out form.
Step 4: Check out and fill in the form
