A welcoming creative community space for neurodivergent adults in Nidderdale!A new group bringing neurodivergent adults together through creativity and connection.
This is a space to spend time with others, explore creativity, work on your own projects, try something new or simply enjoy being part of a welcoming community.
The group is shaped by the people who come along. Together, we’ll develop the activities, ideas and space to create sessions that work for those attending.
What to expect
Each session will be different and may include:
Exploring creative activities and ideas
Bringing your own creative project, hobby or task to work on alongside others
Doubling - working alongside others to help with focus, motivation or getting things done
Conversation if you want it, with no pressure to make small talk
Sharing ideas and helping shape the future of the group
Tea, coffee and a warm welcome
There is no one right way to take part. You might come to create, connect, focus on your own project, try something new or simply spend time alongside others.
A space that works for you...
Everyone experiences spaces and groups differently. You are welcome to bring anything that helps you feel comfortable, such as headphones, loops, comfort items, your own mug or fidget items. We’ll continue to co-create the group with the people who attend, listening to ideas and adapting as we grow.
Who is it for?
This group is for neurodivergent adults.
You are welcome whether you have a formal diagnosis, are waiting for assessment, are exploring your neurodivergence or are self-diagnosed as neurodivergent.
You don’t need to be “creative” or have any experience - curiosity is enough.
Practical details:
Times: 1:30pm to 3:00pm
Dates: 21 September, 19 October, 23 November & 14 December
Location: Studio 6, Pateley Makers Yard, King Street, HG3 5LE
Cost: FREE
