About the Training
Creative Interventions in Play Therapy is a highly experiential workshop designed to expand your play therapy toolbox with engaging, practical techniques you can bring directly into your work with clients.
Participants will explore creative interventions incorporating:
🎨 Art
📖 Metaphor and therapeutic storytelling
🎵 Music
💃 Movement and dance
🧸 Other experiential and creative play therapy techniques
Throughout the day, Terry will demonstrate how creative interventions can be used to build therapeutic relationships, explore clients' lifestyles, facilitate insight, and support meaningful changes in thinking, feeling, and behavior.
Come ready to learn—and come ready to participate! This isn't a day of simply sitting back and taking notes. You'll have opportunities to experience and practice creative techniques throughout the training.
