We welcome you to join us for the Creative Exchange, an informal social evening for creatives — from emerging to established — from across Wycombe, featuring special guest Sarah Corbett, an award-winning activist, Ashoka Fellow, author and founder of the global Craftivist Collective. After introductions, Sarah will talk about purpleher unique approach to craftivism (craft + activism) called 'Gentle Protest' that has helped change hearts, minds, policies and laws around the world as well as broaden the view of what activism can be.
You’ll then take part in a gentle craftivism immersive workshop, where you’ll explore the ideas behind gentle craftivism, take the first steps on your own craftivist journey and have time to network with other attendees in a new way.
We’ll finish with a Q&A with Sarah, including a chance to reflect on the workshop and the creative activity you’ve shared together. You will all leave with a piece of craftivism and some other free surprise goodies!
