Does your child have a passion for dancing? Have they wished for dance classes where it’s not about learning a certain style and choreography, but they can improvise dance in the moment how their body feels like moving? Students inspiring each other in their creativity, and learning how to improve form, body tension, awareness of space, strengthening the connection with their own intuition and creative movement? My daughter has been asking for this and my dear friend Sarah Moore is the absolute perfect teacher for this endeavor. She grew up in creative movement for her entire childhood and while she’s a professional dancer (plus yoga teacher, improv singer, community builder and much more) her core being is all about this.
We are looking for a few more kin participants who are equally inspired and desiring this type of space/class. There will be some elements of including sound, words, and facial expression as well. Children learn about boundaries and much more. Parents/caretakers are welcome to join in, watch, or drop off.
We meet every other Monday starting October 19th.
Please RSVP with name and age
