CREATIVE COMMUNITY: Autumn & Tea-Time Reflections - Paint Your Own Mug
Saturday 7 November | 2:30–4:00 PM
Join Ort Gallery for a cosy afternoon of creativity, connection and reflection as we welcome the changing seasons.
Inspired by the warm colours of autumn, falling leaves and the comfort of a warm cup of tea, this workshop invites you to decorate your own mug using acrylic paints.
Explore autumn-inspired patterns, botanical designs or your own creative ideas while enjoying a relaxed space for conversation, reflection and creativity, faciliated by Eliza/Khawlah Gharbaran.
Ort Gallery's Creative Community sessions are catered to Muslim women, but all women are welcome.
We ask all participants to arrive promptly. The venue has a private parking area with limited spaces, parking on nearby roads available.
Children's Workshop
For participants without child care, a separate creative workshop facilitated by artist Sam Krankpod will take place at the same time in a nearby room for children aged 3-12 years. Children's tickets can only be booked in combination with an adult ticket.
Children will design a 4 sided artist leaflet illustrating their creative ideas, using a combination of collage, drawing and writing to bring their art piece alive.
Note: our free workshops often book up quickly, so please only reserve a ticket if you intend to attend. Every booking holds a space that someone else could have enjoyed, so repeated no-shows or last minute cancellations without a pressing reason may mean we need to introduce a booking fee for future sessions.
Thank you for helping us keep our workshops free, accessible and fair for everyone.
