Join Us for the Creative Alchemy Book Launch!
You're invited to an afternoon of creativity, connection, and play as we celebrate the release of Creative Alchemy — a 250-page guidebook with 175 art prompts designed to help you process emotions, reconnect with yourself, and explore your inner world through creative expression.
What to expect:
This isn't a typical book launch. We're creating an experience where you can try the work for yourself.
You'll be guided through a simple art practice from the book ("Draw Your Heart Without Drawing a Heart Shape"), enjoy light snacks and refreshments, connect with others exploring this kind of work, and have the chance to meet Andrea and get your signed copy of the book.
No art experience needed. No pressure to create anything "good." Just curiosity, play, and permission to explore.
What's included:
Free admission
Light snacks and refreshments
All art materials for the guided practice
A complimentary postcard featuring one of Andrea's art practices
You are free to come and go, but here is the general event flow:
1:00-1:15 PM: Arrival, snacks, and mingling
1:15-1:25 PM: Welcome and a short reading from the book
1:30-1:40 PM: Guided "Draw Your Heart" art practice
1:45-2:00 PM: Optional sharing circle
2:00-3:30 PM: Open mingling, book signing, and conversation
3:30-3:45 PM: Closing remarks and next steps
3:45-4:00 PM: Final goodbyes

Creative Alchemy will be available for purchase at the event for $40 CAD (signed copies available). You can also pre-purchase your signed copy when you register to guarantee yours.

Creative Alchemy: For Emotional Integration & Artistic Play is a practical guidebook for anyone who wants to use creativity as a tool for emotional processing, self-discovery, and inner clarity.
With 175 art prompts, grounding practices, and gentle guidance, this book invites you to move stuck feelings, interrupt old patterns, reconnect with your truth, and meet yourself with curiosity instead of judgment.
No art experience required. Just a willingness to play.
About Andrea Kimberley:
Andrea is a Calgary-based artist and facilitator who has been teaching creative practices for emotional integration since 2018. Her work blends art, embodiment, and depth psychology to help people reconnect with their inner world through play and creative expression.
She's taught workshops across Canada, created murals and commissioned art internationally, and has been featured in CBC News, Psychedelic Scene, and Platform Calgary.
This is her fifth published book — and the one she's spent the last decade building toward.
