Courtroom and legislative warrior, Attorney Josh Hershberger with Indiana Family Institute is bringing the heat to Living Stones! He has been fighting the “pronoun wars” since 2017, representing an Indiana teacher who refused to refer to students by preferred pronouns contrary to his religious beliefs. After years of court battles, Brownsburg School Corporation ultimately settled for $650,000.
Beginning in 2021, Attorney Hershberger defended the right of Indiana parents who had their child taken from them by DCS and lost custody because they wouldn’t affirm his transgender identity, even petitioning to the U.S. Supreme Court. Then after years of legal and then legislative advocacy, his efforts helped secure the passage of the Parental Bill of Rights signed into law by Gov. Braun on May 1, 2025.
Attorney Hershberger is a pastor and the director of Church Ambassador Network at Indiana Family Institute. He will be joining us at Living Stones Church on October 14, at 6:30om, to discuss his new book: Created Equal. Hear the battle-tested Josh Hershberger talk about the fundamental truths that are worth fighting for. Register now.
