Unleash your inner artist and transport yourself straight to the historic streets of Venice, Italy!
Join us at Create and Make Workshops in Surry Hills for an inspiring, deeply expressive afternoon of hands-on craft. Hosted by experienced artist Renny, this vibrant workshop welcomes creators of all skill levels with absolutely no experience required.
You will learn the timeless basics of designing a fabulous, traditional Venetian mask ready to wear by the end of the class. Renny will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, sharing expert tips as you bring your vision to life. Each guest will have the chance to construct and decorate their own piece using a beautiful mix of intricate painting, hot glue styling, decoupage and elegant gilding techniques.
Whether you want a bold carnival look or something subtly beautiful, you will leave with a completely unique, ready-to-wear masterpiece!Please note: This workshop will only involve decorating a pre-made papier-mâché mask (3 styles to choose from) - we will not be making the mask from scratch.
