Create your own Miniature Shell Collection (ages 9-13)

Coastal Crafts at Elgin Museum!

Join us at this family friendly event (ages 9-13) to create your own boxed miniature shell collection.

Inspired by the mini boxed shell collection once own by local historian Rev George Gordon, and in honour of our Museum in Miniature, you'll create a small decorative box to hold miniature sea shells - including a special name label, just like George Gordon's.

You can choose from our collection, or bring your own (shells must be smaller than 3cm), and you'll create a small fold out guide to your collection.

Suitable for ages 9-13

All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult (each children's ticket includes one adult).
