Equipment & Practical Setup
No specialist cameras or complicated kit required. A Phone is more than sufficient to begin.
During the session:
• Work with your own device — or practise using professional kit
• Explore a range of professional microphones and understand how each setup affects sound and delivery
• Build simple lighting arrangements that can be recreated at home or in the office (bring a product if you would like to practise lighting it professionally)
• Review a tested range of equipment and receive clear, independent guidance on what suits your own setup
• Explore autocue options and develop a delivery method that feels natural and composed

About Elizabeth Keates
Elizabeth Keates is an Olivier Award-winning actress and filmmaker whose career spans broadcast, theatre and high-level commercial production.
Her early career included work at the BBC, where she developed a disciplined approach to storytelling and visual standards. She later co-founded a creative studio, producing work across heritage venues, national brands and corporate organisations.
Her portfolio includes Leeds Castle, Age UK, Interflora at the Chelsea Flower Show, Strawberry Star, York Theatre Royal, and photography of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
What distinguishes her work is the integration of performance psychology with production expertise — enabling professionals to appear composed, credible and natural on camera.

This special documentation rate applies to participants who consent to a brief on-camera testimonial at the conclusion of the session.
If attendance becomes impossible, a credit may be transferred to a future date.
