About this Event
Create your own, hand-painted notecards with Jayne Roth at Highlandtown Gallery in this hands-on workshop at Highlandtown Gallery. Mimosas and pastries are included in workshop fee.
Students will learn how to create beautiful abstract alcohol ink art to use on the front of blank notecards to take home and use. The finished cards also make a great gift.
Students will learn to create stunning cards using thinned and full-strength alcohol inks. Gel pens are used to further detail art before attaching to a blank notecard.
- Alcohol inks, gel pens, notecards, and paper are all included in the workshop fee.
- Up to six notecards will be completed.
- Class is suitable for ages 13-adult.
Note: this workshop will be held in a large space with adequate ventilation to avoid any inherent risks associated with using alcohol inks. Students may wish to bring the following optional supplies to class: respirator mask, nitrile gloves, apron or smock, and magnification lenses.
On the day of the class, Jayne will also host a "Trunk Show" featuring a special collection of her pieces available for purchase.
Learn more about Jayne Roth's work on her website, Blind Bliss Jewels. The Highlandtown Gallery also offers many of her fine jewelry pieces both in-store and in our online shop.
