About this Event
Create your own, one-of-a-kind botanical earrimgs or pendant with Jayne Roth at Highlandtown Gallery in this full-day hands-on workshop, which includes lunch.
An accomplished jewelry designer, Jayne will demonstrate the ease of creating unique and beautiful silver jewelry while using non-traditional materials and simplified jewelry-making techniques. No sawing, hammering, or soldering is needed!
Learn how to use fine silver metal clay to make botanical earrings or pendant. You'll choose a variety of finishes. For the earrings you will use sterling silver ear wires for pierced ears.
Add these unique earrings to your jewelry collection, or gift them to someone special.
This six-hour jewelry workshop is for those who have an appreciation for silver artisan jewelry and who have a desire to learn how to create their own.
All tools and materials are included in the workshop fee.
Your schedule for the day:
- 9:00 - 1:00: Creation of silver botanical earrings or pendant
- 1:00 - 2:00: Lunch provided by the gallery
- 2:00 - 4:00: Further instruction, finish earrings or pendant
Note: "leaf" design from actual living leaves, so this design is not available year round.
In conjunction with the class, Jayne will also host a "trunk show" featuring a special selection of her jewelry collection for purchase.
Learn more about Jayne Roth's work on her website, Blind Bliss Jewels. The Highlandtown Gallery also offers many of her fine jewelry pieces both in-store and in our online shop.
