Powertex is back at Shedders, and this time we've got something special - Create a 3D Canvas (20cm x 20cm). This is a great opportunity to create something truly unique and special.*SATURDAY, 12th DECEMBER, 10:00-16:00* (and includes a break for lunch midway).
The ladies from Fen Mill Crafts will guide you through the process, how to layer the canvas boards to create depth, and using Powertex to add shape and texture to each layer. Once dry, you will be able to paint your canvas with the acrylics and natural pigments provided. Suitable for beginners.
You can give it a Christmas theme (if you want to), create a gift for someone special, or just have fun and see where your creativity takes you.
For those that have never used Powertex before, this amazingly versatile product can be moulded and sculpted into shapes, or in it's liquid form, used to coat natural materials and mixed-media items (wood, metal, card, etc). Once dried and cured, it is fully water-resistant and weatherproof!

We recommend you wear some old clothes and leave your rings at home. Whilst the Powertex is water-soluble in it's liquid form, once it dries, it's there to stay!
