CreArtBox presents Currents, part of its flagship New York City concert series at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
Founded in New York in 2013, CreArtBox has built a distinctive place in the city’s classical music scene by bringing together exceptional chamber musicians, imaginative programming, and immersive visual design. Its flagship series transforms the traditional concert experience, creating performances where music, space, and visual storytelling come together.
Currents opens CreArtBox’s 2026–27 New York season with a program that moves across generations, connecting the Romantic world of Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms with the music of contemporary American composer Eric Moe.
Taking its title from Moe’s Laminar Flow in Upsidedown Creek, the concert explores the idea of movement: musical currents that flow between composers, periods, and performers, shifting from intimacy and lyricism to extraordinary energy.
