We had such a lovely time sharing craft and music I'm doing it again! This time lazy Sunday afternoon vibes :)
Key info
- Rock up anytime from 2:30
- Craft supplies provided (or feel free to BYO)
- entertainment starts around 3:30 (songs, poems, traveling bard style)
- Chai and beer on tap till it runs out
The kaupapa for this event is to create a low stakes, high inspiration zone for people to enjoy crafting, connecting and listening.
I often feel inspired to make things while I'm at music gigs and frustrated that I can't put that into action there and then.
This is an opportunity to listen and channel your inspiration into drawing, collaging, clay modeling, kitting, whatever (the craft options are endless!)
If you're not sure what to make or need some help getting started I'll be available to help get the ball rolling from 2:30 - 3:30. I teach creativity for a living so I know everyone is creative, sometimes we just need a little push in the right direction.
It's also chance for me, as a budding musician, to practice performing my songs in a space where there are other offerings for people to enjoy.
FREE event
but any donations towards my upcoming exhibition and workshop series gratefully appreciated.
- I’ll have some zines and prints available to buy too
Crafty friends welcome
