About this Event
Bring a craft and join us for an evening of creativity and connection. At Connect, Craft & Listen, we’ll listen to the same audiobook together while crafting (knitting, embroidery, drawing, collage, or anything portable you enjoy).
This time we are joining Libro.fm's National Read In to protest book bans and will listen to a challenged short story.
After listening, we’ll spend time in a relaxed book club conversation. The shared listening experience creates an easy way to connect, reflect, and meet others.
No crafting expertise required. Just bring a project and settle in for a thoughtful evening.
Things to Know
• Please bring a craft project to work on, along with any tools or materials you’ll need.
• The session will include approximately 30 minutes of listening and 30 minutes of discussion.
• No headphones are required. We wil llisten together on a speaker
Free to attend. Seats are limited to keep the gathering intimate so RSVPs are encouraged.
