Craft & Connect: Creative Wellbeing in Chelmsford
A series of relaxed, free creative wellbeing session at Cornerstone Café, Chelmsford.
Come along for an hour of crafting, connection and a little time for yourself.
Craft & Connect is a friendly community space where we come together to make something, have a chat (if we fancy it!) and enjoy the simple wellbeing benefits of being creative.
Each session has a different craft or creative theme, so there will always be something new to try. You don't need to be "good at art" or have any previous experience, just come along and have a go.
The sessions are facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist through Olea Community, but this is not therapy. There is no expectation to talk about personal experiences or mental health. You can chat, create, sit quietly, meet new people or simply enjoy an hour away from the usual busyness of life.

This months craft:
Create your Own Wellbeing Journal
Join us in person for a fun session where you’ll craft your very own wellbeing journal. It’s all about expressing yourself, sharing good vibes, and connecting with others who love to create. Whether you're a journaling pro or just starting out, this chill meetup is perfect for anyone wanting to connect with others while making something beautiful.
We'll have plenty of materials to use, including blank wellbeing journals, paper, pens, collage materials, stickers and more. You might fill your journal with words, drawings, lists, memories, things that make you smile, or simply whatever you feel like creating. There are no rules and no artistic skills required, this is about enjoying the process rather than creating something "perfect".
Take your journal home with you and keep adding to it whenever you fancy.

Craft materials are provided. You are welcome to purchase drinks or food from Cornerstone Café if you'd like to, but there is no expectation to do so.
Booking
Please sign up through Eventbrite to reserve a place, as spaces are limited.
Drop-ins are also welcome, subject to space on the day.
If you've booked but can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can offer your place to someone else.
