About Katherine Ramsland
Dr. Katherine Ramsland is a leading expert on forensic psychology and extreme criminal behavior, as well as a professor emerita at DeSales University, and best-selling author. She has appeared in more than 200 crime documentaries and television programs and has written dozens of books and hundreds of articles on criminal investigation and the psychology of violent offenders.
Throughout her career, Ramsland has worked with FBI profilers, homicide detectives, coroners, criminologists, and attorneys, bringing a combination of academic expertise and firsthand experience to the study of criminal behavior. She worked extensively with Dennis Rader, the notorious BTK serial killer, on his autobiography, Confession of a Serial Killer, and has interviewed and studied numerous other violent offenders. She has also served as an executive producer and consultant for crime-focused television and documentary projects.
