About this Event
Psychedelic-assisted therapy is now part of Australia's regulated mental health landscape, and clinicians need sound, compassionate training to support it safely.
This 3-day CPD intensive gives you an evidence-informed framework for preparing, supporting and integrating clients within Australia's medically supervised system. It blends teaching, experiential learning, supervised skills practice, reflective exercises and case discussion.
What you'll explore:
• Australian regulation of MDMA and psilocybin, including TGA Authorised Prescriber pathways
• The science and evidence, including its limitations
• Screening, contraindications, informed consent and safety
• Ethics, boundaries and culturally safe practice
• Core therapist skills: compassionate presence and non-reactivity
• Preparation, session support and integration
Who it's for: psychiatrists, GPs, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, mental health nurses, allied health professionals, and yoga and meditation therapists.
Please note: this training does not permit prescribing, administering or independently facilitating psychedelic medicine.
