Tell me more about the music featured in Cozy.
Cozy is the namesake of musicyskippy's 4-song music release from January 2025. These compositions strip down to piano loops and vocals, similar to his 2023 release called Poems. Today musicbyskippy's discography contains over 75 songs.
This experience features acoustic versions of his own compositions, original covers from holiday, pop, and musical theater, and other repertoire capturing the essence of finding warmth in the winter time.
Below are two videos. The first is "Cozy," musicbyskippy's holiday song. The second is his live performance of "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables.

“Pause. Play. Be Kind. Make A Difference." These are the four pillars of Kansas City-based educator, performer, & producer Luke “Skippy” Harbur. Through public speaking, beatboxing, and other skills he creates thought-provoking experiences for multigenerational audiences, celebrating authenticity and combating social isolation.
He began full-time freelancing in November 2021. As an educator, public speaking topics focus on motivation under stress, managing mental health, and becoming a community builder. As a performer, his project musicbyskippy spans a discography of over 75 original songs. As a producer, his company LSH Productions manages creative projects serving thousands of live arts, literary, and entrepreneurship patrons annually.
Living through four near death experiences before age 30 define his mission: nurture the kind, goofy, and critical thinking person living inside everyone. Follow @lshproductions and @musicbyskippy to watch his journey!

From www.theartsasylm.org:
In early August of 2021, The Arts Asylum made the decision to cease operations at 1000 E 9th street and make the move to Brookside East in to The A to Z Theatrical Campus at 824 Meyer Blvd.
Meyer will bring together a new collective of partners who will drive our programming and theatrical endeavors under the guidance of Korey Childs, Artistic Director. The Arts Asylum along with Faust Theatre, The City of Fountains Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and Pop Culture Sculptures will produce shows, events, and programs that will continue enriching our communities the same way we always have.
Continuing our current partnerships at The South Kansas City Performing Arts Academy, ArtsBlock, Craft & Sage Financial Partners, School of Economics and The Real World Learning Initiative, programs like theatre classes, artist critiques, gallery displays, curation guidance, and community engagement is the backbone of our mission.
With the addition of programs such as Drag Queen Story Time, Parallels: A docu-series, production support of local playwrights and many more in the works, The Arts Asylum will create a more robust foundation on which to support our mission and theatrical works.
