Mugs will be ready for pick-up Dec. 8th!
About this Event
Slow down and settle into the season with a cozy afternoon of clay, texture, and autumn-inspired creativity. In this handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your own ceramic mug from clay and decorate it with textures inspired by the beauty of fall. Experiment with real leaves, botanicals, fabric, lace, handmade stamps, and other natural textures to create a mug that feels uniquely yours.
You’ll learn the basics of handbuilding, including shaping your mug, creating and attaching a handle, refining the rim, and adding texture and decorative details. You’ll have plenty of time to experiment and make the piece your own, whether you prefer subtle botanical impressions or a bold, richly textured design.
No previous ceramics experience is necessary! We’ll guide you through each step in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Come enjoy an afternoon of making, sipping something warm, and celebrating the cozy textures of autumn.
All experience levels welcome. All materials and firing included.
