Have you ever picked up a crochet book or pulled up a pattern online, only to feel like you're staring at a secret code? You're not alone — and we're here to help! In this cozy, beginner-friendly crash course, you'll learn the basics of crochet and how to confidently decode patterns (yes, even those mysterious acronyms!). We'll start from the very beginning — tying your first slipknot and chaining — then move into slip stitches and the single, double, and treble crochet stitches, wrapping up with how to "cast off" like a pro. Along the way, we'll also chat about choosing sustainable, ethically produced yarns and brands, so you can feel good about every stitch. And to make the evening extra special, you can sip on a signature handcrafted alcohol-free cocktail from Alt Bar while you stitch! Grab a hook, settle in, and let's get hooked together!
