Who's ready for a summer day out? We're heading to Cowell for a water park excursion with the Wara Yindi team: a day of splashing, playing, connecting and making summer memories.
Excursion transport, snacks and drinks are included. We depart from and return to 6 Haynes Street, Whyalla Norrie. Maximum 10 participants, with water-safety staffing ratios in place. Children who need 1:1 support throughout must have a parent or support worker with them. Please send swimwear, a towel, rash shirt, hat, water bottle, a change of clothes and a packed lunch [confirm].
Bookings and payment essential; limited places. The trip needs four bookings to run.
Registration and consent: After booking, complete our Registration and Consent Form for each child at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=DQSIkWdsW0yxEjajBLZtrQAAAAAAAAAAAAN__487RHFUQlhJUkhHOTZYUU9TM1ozMkVBV0g1WjFGNS4u; places are confirmed once it is received. The form covers emergency contacts, approved collection adults, allergies, medical and support needs, swimming ability, and consent for participation, first aid and emergency treatment, Medic*tion, sunscreen, transport, photos and video (including social media and advertising), release of information, and de-identified funder reporting. Only participation, first aid and emergency treatment consents are required to attend, and you can change any consent at any time.
Excursion and water consent (required for this trip): Parent/guardian consent is required for your child to travel by Wara Yindi transport and swim or play in water under staff supervision. Supervision is based on the swimming ability you describe; children who cannot swim stay in shallow, designated areas within arm's reach of staff or their support person.
All staff hold Working With Children Checks and police clearances, and our programs are insured and risk assessed.
