Cowboy Graves by Frankie Regalia, Bryce Drennen and Mounday Soutar
Two deserts on the other side of the world, two wanderers over fifty years apart and two stories entwine to explore the search for home and the struggle for survival in this contemporary storytelling piece. Strangers in strange lands battle the presence of a skeleton, a tin of corned beef and the changes that occur when you’re lost in a sea of sand.
Featuring live original music by Mounday Soutar, whose unique experimental country music takes inspiration from the Americana West and the wild places of the world.
Cowboy Graves was first developed as part of Wildcard Stories, a Creative Scotland funded, quarterly contemporary storytelling event.
Followed by open mic storytelling hosted by The Village Storytelling Centre
After you’ve heard tales of epic journeys and distant lands come along and take a turn with a story, a song or any other folkloric output in this open evening of relaxing tale sharing.
