COWBOY COOKOUT AT TANQUE VERDE GUEST RANCH….🚨This event is sold out! Well, howdy, Tucson Dining Club!
Dust off those boots, round up your appetite, and get ready to mosey on down to the Cottonwood Grove for a genuine Western evening at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch!
We’ll gather beneath the desert sky for an all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet, lawn games, live music, entertainment, and plenty of time to relax and visit with your fellow diners.
Cowboy boots are optional—but a hearty appetite is required!
THE TRAIL SCHEDULE
📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
⏰ 5:10 PM — Tucson Dining Club check-in
Meet at the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch main entrance, just outside the front desk area. Please check in with the Tucson Dining Club host—not the Ranch staff—before heading down to the event site.
We’ll get everyone checked in, organized, and safely pointed toward the Cottonwood Grove. Golf carts will be available for anyone who needs assistance getting down to the cookout.
🎵 5:30 PM — The bar opens, lawn games begin, and the music starts
🍽️ 6:00 PM — Dinner is served
WHAT’S ON THE CHUCKWAGON?
The all-you-can-eat buffet will be stocked with a variety of classic barbecue favorites, a full salad bar, and plenty of hearty sides.
All buffet items will be clearly labeled for guests with dietary restrictions. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free selections will be incorporated into the buffet, with additional options available upon request.
If you need a special accommodation, please let the host know when reserving so the Ranch can be notified in advance.

Beverages are additional and will be paid for separately by each diner.
SEATING AT THE COOKOUT
Traditional picnic tables with benches are used in the Cottonwood Grove. Our group will have tables reserved so the Tucson Dining Club can sit together and enjoy the evening.
Should the weather refuse to cooperate, don’t fret—the Cowboy Cookout will move inside to the Main Dining Area.
ROUND UP YOUR RESERVATION
This special event is limited to only 25 diners, and high demand is expected.
To request a seat, comment below and tag the host, or contact the host directly by private message. Please wait until the host confirms that a seat has been reserved for you.
Payment collection will begin October 1. Your reservation is guaranteed once payment has been received.
A waitlist will be maintained for this event. If it is sold out, put your name on the list.
All reservations become final 48 hours before the event. If something unexpected happens, contact the Tucson Dining Club host—not the Ranch—so we can help with a possible seat transfer.
It’s going to be an evening of smoky barbecue, Western music, friendly competition, desert scenery, and great company.
