About this Event
Join us to support four animal rescuers who are being charged for saving the lives of two sick baby goats, Phoebe and Celia, from a factory farm that produces milk for the nation’s largest goat milk brand, Meyenberg. Carla, Sally, Taj and Joe were facing felony grand theft charges but after reviewing the animal cruelty evidence, the judge reduced the felonies to misdemeanors. Our friends now face three misdemeanors: theft, conspiracy and trespass.Thank you to our incredible attorneys with the Animal Activist Legal Defense Project, the Civil Liberties Defense Center, and local counsel.These charges are an attempt to cover up the suffering of animals and repress those who are brave enough to rescue them.
